Sierra turned six months this past week. She weighed in on the Wii Fit at a whopping 16.6 lbs! (I was holding her, of course.) A couple weeks ago, she started doing the military scoot, or so it seemed. But now, she is doing her own version of the crawl, which apparently is identical to the first crawling demonstrated by her mom back in the early 70s. Ha ha. She gets up on all fours, pushes off with her toes, lunges forward, and goes down on her stomach - flat. It works. She went chasing after a ball yesterday. She almost went out the front door a couple of times. She found the cat food. Mmmm...yum. Too bad her coordination about getting food to her mouth isn't so great.
One afternoon, we were all hanging out together, playing Mario Kart on the Wii. Sierra was on the floor in front of us. All of a sudden, our game abruptly ended. We looked around and there was Sierra, on the floor with her hands wrapped around the Wii console itself. Oops! None of the other girls crawled this early!!!
